Hello! I’m Hannah

Yoga teacher, birth and postnatal doula based in Baldock, Hertfordshire

You're pregnant, and you already sense that this time in your life deserves real attention. Maybe you're looking for space to slow down, connect with your body, and prepare—mind, body, and spirit—for what's ahead. Or maybe you just know that this transition into motherhood deserves more care than our culture usually allows.

You want to feel confident in your choices and held through the process. And you want to find the right people to have alongside you.

I'm Hannah, mother of two, yoga teacher, and doula

But before any of that - I'm someone who knows first hand what it feels like to be transformed by becoming a mother. The love, the joy, the sheer depth of feeling. Nothing quite prepares you for it. Through my own pregnancies and births I discovered strength I didn't know I had, and built a deeper trust in myself, my body and my instincts, than I'd ever felt before.

Neither experience was what I planned—they seldom are. One hospital birth, one at home. One resolutely breech baby, one more conventional arrival. One induction, one spontaneous labour. I wouldn't change either for the world. They are memories I hold dear. Yoga and traditional postpartum practices were woven through both—shaping not just my physical recovery but my understanding of what real support looks like.

I know this season of life is powerful, beautiful, and extraordinary. And so are you.

I firmly believe that giving birth should be one of life's greatest achievements—an experience every woman deserves to cherish. And that every new mother should be nurtured, held, and nourished through this profound transition.

Yet too many women move through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks after feeling rushed, unheard, or unsure of themselves. I've been fascinated by birth since childhood, and after witnessing how transformative—but also how unsupported—this time can be, I trained as a birth and postnatal doula. As a yoga teacher, I’ve chosen to focus on pregnancy and postnatal yoga.

Alongside this, I work in healthcare strategy and volunteer as Trustee with AIMS - the Association for Improvements in the Maternity Services. I'm also a member of the Association of Radical Midwives. Together, these experiences shape the evidence-aware, deeply personal support I bring to every family I work with.
